Microtunneling

Microtunneling is a trenchless/NO-DIG pipe-laying technology that guarantees significantly greater accuracy and reliability compared to traditional jacking methods. The process is suitable for the construction of drinking water, stormwater, or sewage pipelines, as well as district heating or telecommunication lines, or any kind of protective conduit. The diameter range applied by Veolia Mélyépítő Magyarország Kft. extends from 500 mm to 2500 mm, while the constructible length is virtually unlimited. The cutter head of the tunnel boring machine can be replaced according to the characteristics of the existing soil. The jacking debris is transported to the surface as slurry and processed on-site by a dedicated part of the equipment before deposition. This method can be used at great depths, in groundwater environments, and in any soil class.

Pipe Bursting

Pipe bursting is a NO-DIG technology used for the rehabilitation of water, sewage, and gas pipelines made of cast iron, steel, stoneware, or plastic. A hydraulic pulling unit installed in a manhole attached to the pipeline to be renewed pushes a pulling rod into the designated pipeline section for replacement. The new pipe, attached to the bursting/cutting head, is pulled back with the rod and simultaneously installed along the same alignment as the existing pipeline, while the old pipe is burst. Due to the outstanding speed and efficiency of this technology, it is increasingly being planned and applied. Our company has been using this NO-DIG technology in its construction practice for more than 15 years. Sections of 50-300 meters can be constructed from a single pull point. With our equipment, we are able to burst pipelines with diameters ranging from DN 90mm to DN 800mm.
