At Veolia, social responsibility and environmental protection are not just campaigns, but are part of our mindset. That is why we are sponsoring for the second time the Our Nature international photo contest and exhibition, which uniquely showcases the beauty of our natural treasures and the responsibility of humans for managing them.

This year, the photo contest received more than 2,000 entries from 35 countries. The images revolve around three main themes: untouched nature, the impact of human activity, and sustainable solutions for the future. Veolia has been sponsoring the photo contest for two years as a way to express our commitment to sustainability, education, and environmental dialogue.

At the award ceremony in Budapest, Veolia’s Marketing Director, Ágnes Oláh emphasized in her speech that “Climate change is a challenge, but also an opportunity to embark on the path of ecological adaptation.”

One of the key statements of Veolia’s CSR strategy is that environmental and social responsibility go hand in hand. We believe that our responses to environmental challenges depend not only on technology but also on human decisions. The Our Nature exhibition aims to draw attention to this – in a spectacular, inspiring way, using the power of the visual.

The exhibition will be open to the public until October 26, 2025, at two busy locations in Budapest: Széna Square and Mechwart Park.
