Veolia once again supported an association in Bátonyterenye, which aims to help children living in deep poverty in the region. The association supports children for whom clean clothes, proper hygiene, or daily food are not a given but a daily struggle. Thanks to the corporate collaboration, this year’s donation drive was exceptionally successful: the sweets, toys, clothes, and hygiene products collected by employees barely fit in the cargo space of the delivery vehicle.
The donations arrived at the organisation before Children’s Day, and on May 30, more than 100 children received the gifts at a large, cheerful event in Bátonyterenye, making this year’s Children’s Day memorable for the youngest.
