According to the legislation, the heating season each year lasts from September 15th to May 15th of the following year. This means that during this period, the district heating suppliers, including Veolia, must ensure heating services for their customers whenever weather conditions make it necessary. Outside of the availability period, apartment buildings have the option to request additional heating services, which must be communicated to the Suppliers by the Building Representative via the customer service in person, by letter, phone, or email.

Before the start of the season, in order to ensure safe and efficient service, Veolia’s specialists, carried out the necessary preparatory, maintenance, and repair works in the company group’s power plants and district heating facilities.  Among other thigs, they inspected boilers and heat-generating equipment, checked and cleaned heat exchangers, filled up and vented the systems. District heating services are continuously available in the cities supplied by Veolia – including Ajka, Algyő, Budapest Szilas Park, Budaörs, Celldömölk, Cegléd, Dombóvár, Dorog, Esztergom, Érd, Hajdúnánás, Nyergesújfalu, Siklós, Tata, Záhony, and Zirc.
