Veolia is among the first to obtain anti-bribery certification

Veolia Energia Magyarország Zrt. was among the first companies in Hungary to obtain the ISO 37001 anti-bribery management system standard certification.

Veolia Energia Magyarország Zrt. was among the first companies in Hungary to obtain the ISO 37001 anti-bribery management system standard certification. The standard defines the requirements for the establishment, implementation, operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of an anti-bribery management system and provides guidance on the measures and approaches that can be taken to comply with its requirements.

Obtaining the certificate is a testimony to the fact that Veolia Energia Magyarország Zrt. has implemented internationally recognised control systems as part of its fight against corruption. ISO 37001 is a risk management tool that assures business partners, employees and management that Veolia Energia Hungary Zrt. is doing its utmost to prevent corruption.

The measures and controls required by ISO 37001 are based on best international anti-corruption practices.

The certificate was issued by the nationally and internationally recognised Hungarian Standards Body, which, in addition to certification services, has exclusive authority for public tasks related to national standardisation in Hungary.
