The poster exhibition, running until October 31st and organized by the Baranya County Chamber of Engineering, aims to raise awareness to the importance of engineering and design, as well as to the diversity of the engineering profession and engineer training.
The initiative would like to provide an opportunity for young people to learn about the technical and engineering education opportunities, and to allow schools, technical schools, and the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology of the University of Pécs to present their activities. It is also an opportunity for local design and construction firms to showcase their most significant and important achievements and projects from the last four years.
Pannon Hőerőmű Zrt., a subsidiary of Veolia in Pécs, also displayed a poster at Széchenyi Square to present the various engineering activities at the power plant to young people who may be looking for work or interested in a career. The company offers its customers a wide range of sustainable solutions and services with a team of highly skilled professionals.
